Women’s Sitting Room

Each year, The Holiday House Show House commemorates different holidays or celebrations in each room. In designing the women’s dressing room, it only felt natural to celebrate women by creating a “Happy Birthday” room.
It was created to align with the American Cancer Society’s goal “to make a world with less cancer and more birthdays.” The dressing room and elegant retreat represented a strong and beautiful woman; a woman who works hard, but also honors each day, and each coming year, with joy and appreciation. The room redefines its function and becomes a favorite destination to start or end your day.
This celebration of love and life is expressed through sinfully luscious elements including vanilla, chocolate and raspberry, bringing together the overall vision with sparkling details, decadent furnishings and artwork. Steves likens the room to the perfect series of macaroons, in which each bite delivers a complexity of tastes and sinful satisfaction.
